Adios

Got a working camera, a big THANKS to my sister! A couple night ago we all went out for Bonnie's goodbye; she is going overseas for a long holiday and we will be gone before her return. So, we felt a proper hang out session was necessary.

Not so good at this blog thing...

I offer anyone and everyone trying to "follow"this blog my apologies  for it really hasn't gone anywhere... I will try harder to give you folks something to follow from here on out.

A brief update on the last couple of weeks:

The student lounge has been repainted; it has gone from a nasty early 90's blue to a sandy tan and plum violet. 

Got the opportunity to swim at Byron Bay and see what this Schoolies thing is all about. Schoolies are those who have finished High School, they then retreat to the costal cities to party the week away, for the most part funded by the parents... yup super lame. 

Cooked up quite a few meals

Helped set up our awesome fake christmas tree

Surfed the Web and facebooked it up

Bought our tickets for India!!!! we leave on February 4th  and will be flying into Mumbai; from there we will travel with  Viktor and Hanna to Darjeeling by train.

Cleaned a couple bathrooms

Work Space

My work days lately have consisted of cooking and in my free time trying to create something in the art room. Well what really ends up happening is the table gets cluttered with coffee mugs, books, and magazines; our tools of inspiration.

Opossum in the Night

I've been here in Australia for the past four days. My first day in, went as follows: tossed my junk into the room, ran trough the shower, and 10 min later in the car heading into the city. It was a lovely first day full of meeting loads of new people, the Contemporary Art Museum and a BBQ on the river with the MAD(music, art, and dance) department. Since then I've gone to:

 an 80's party for the November Birthdays

 went scootin' at the skate park with the local scooter crew( found out skateboarding is super lame... razor riding is the craze)

Last night Vickor, Hanna, Eve and  I checked out the 2High Festival. The focus was to bring Brisbane's young and emerging  artist together; held at the Powerhouse, there was interactive displays of art , live music, performance and all sorts of other things going on.

Rest Area 40 miles ahead

While in California, I stay with my dear friend Jill(one of the wildest ladies around).  A day after arrival,  my sister and I had the opportunity to hop in a vehicle and go for a little road trip to Redding. A  night on the ground with 6 girls in a hotel room, some Bethany University soccer, we were back in the Scotts Valley area just over 24hr later. Three girls + one 4runner = way to many bathroom breaks.

After a  couple hours of sleep,  I am now in the Santa Cruz area caught up on sleep, sippin' on some coffee and getting ready to spend my last day in the states.

Portland will be missed

November 4, said my goodbyes to Mother-wolf and the fam. Then boarded amtrak for my 20 hr ride to San Jose.
